"The aim of Vueling was to create an airline with which flying became a genuine pleasure,
with which paying less was not equivalent to lowering standards in terms of service or comfort
and which was open, sincere and user-friendly. Vuelings first commercial flight (Barcelona-Ibiza)
took place on July 1, 2004. The original fleet was comprised of 2 new A320’s, and the daily
routes offered flights from Barcelona to destinations like Paris, Brussels, and Ibiza."
