In the previous sections different characteristics have been discussed which are typical for the spatial low-cost carrier network. In this section these characteristics will be operationalized. First some remarks will be made regarding the used data. Second the low-cost carrier selection will be commented. Finally the links, site, and situation characteristics will be operationalized.
